question about the little people and migration

in one of my discussions with some of the Native friends here, i heard something interesting. he sayd that some of the Cherokee have the Little People as part of their worship/belief system. i know a couple Cherokee people myself, and allof them have Scottish blood as well..it seems to be that the Cherokee and Scots had some sort of connection in the past. *p*i  and my friend are wondering if the Little People came over to Cherokee lands and culture when the Scots did? (whenever that happened to be)...or are the Little People native to Cherokee also? *p*slainte*br*Red Turtle
