My NDE wasn't *br*: like other NDE's I've heard described. There were no bright *br*: lights, no tunnels. >> *br*:*br*: I didn't have any bright lights either. I almost died when *br*: my heart (which has always been very irregular, but not *br*: before this in a physically noticable sort of way) decided *br*: to quit on me driving home from a class one day. I probably *br*Can't really post a long message here (we're off to Ohio to perrorm/attend a wedding). *p*I've accepted death a number of times in my life: *p*Once when I fell off the second story of a house when about 4 years old. *p*Again when I was drowning at Myrtle Beach, SC when I was maybe 7. *p*When I was 16 in a deep meditation. *p*At the age of 18 in an auto accident. *p*Sometime around the age of 25 in my sleep. *p*The "accepting of death" is actually a dropping of the barriers between our segmented spirit and our greater spirit. Itallows us to see reality in a multi-dimensional, non-linear type of way. I've journeyed out of my body and I've seen all that is in this world and I accept that too. *p*Once death has been accepted, it can be at most an inconvenience in the process of life. It is definitely not an end. Death is an opening to many lives and noytt just our own or each this single one to which we sometimes so tightly hold. *p*It is a great blessing to be in the spirit and a greater blessing still to encounter others who are also spirit. *p*Many Blessings to you and your newly returned brother, *p*Searles Re: Near Death Experiences Topaz Owl 18 Sun May 10 20:18:14 1998
