Recognizing Druids The Topaz Owl Sat Oct 24 20:12:17 1998 I've been mulling something over (again) after reading a certain NG and certain mailing lists. Now, I'm thinking that perhaps we can talk about this rationally and without malice at the Summerlands, where we are among friends and kindred spirits.*p* How do you recognize a Druid in these days of no real standard?*p* The reason I ask this is: I have no idea how I do it, I have never sat down and listed any criteria, but I do recognize Druids. There are people that I *know* are Druids, and, conversely, there are people who can claim "I'm a Druid" until they're blue in the face, but they'll never convince me.*p* So what are the qualities that define and identify a Druid to you, personally? I know Searles gave us a great triad, but I think I'd like to expand on the concepts a bit and define what exactly it is that makes you say, "Yes, now, here is a Druid."*p*Leigh
