Re-Paganization Taliesin_2 Fri Apr 9 08:20:05 1999 While I home sick with a sore throat (allergies most likely, possibly a cold) I thought I'd post a few things through out the day. Here is one I'm interested in. The Morals and Ethics in Re-Paganizing or Paganizing Irish/Celtic sayings or blessings. I know some may take offense to it, but am interested in general concensus or opinion...*p*Here is a [ few ]examples:*p*{ the original }*p*"Between the saddle and the ground *br*is the grace of God." -- Irish Proverb*p*{ the Re-Paganized or Paganized version }*p* "Between the saddle and the ground *br*is the grace of the Gods." -- Irish Proverb*p*[ the original ]*p*May there be a fox on your fishing hook and a hare on your bait and may you kill no fish until St. Brigid's Day*p*[ the Re-Paganized or Paganized version ]*p*May there be a fox on your fishing hook and a hare on your bait and may you kill no fish until Brigid's Day.*p*I'd appreciated honest opinions and POV's. I'm asking because alot of ancient Druidic/Celtic wisdom was [ in part ] corrupted by the Xtian monks/scribes who were converted Druids.
