WellSpring '99 Aicerno OCathasaigh akiernox_ocasey@hotmail.com Tue May 25 13:55:20 1999 I just got back this past Sunday from WellSpring '99, which was hosted by StoneCreed Grove, ADF and held at the Brushwood Folklore Center near Sherman, New York. The event went from the 19-23 of May, and it was my first time there. And grand craic it was to be sure. Isaac Bonewites showed up on Saturday, if I remember correctly, and I enjoyed being able to meet him for the first time. I had heard much about Isaac, from my observation of him a good name for him would be "Mouse that roars". The reason for this being that he is a quiet fellow and yet his deeds speak loudly for him. I also met Fox who is ADF's current Arch Druid, Ian Corrigan, and Traci a.k.a. Sitheag Bochannon from IMBAS (although we were not formally introduced, I did attend two of her workshops). On Friday night, there was a ritual prepared by the ADF Mother Grove which immediately went into a symbel. And so did the Alefrith thence flow (quite literally), and many oaths were taken by the participants. On Saturday night, a third ceremony was conducted which was a shrine sacrifice. This Rite was conducted in the rain which had been going nonstop since 12:30 or so that morning.*br*That pretty much sums up the events that happened to me over this past weekend.*p*Aicerno
