It is the discovery, the experience and the imbas of Draíocht. Being a Druid is maintained through a life that is filled with the service and practice of Draíocht. It is through these actions that a Druid finds deity and is connected to the spirit of other Druids. *p*A quest for Draíocht can be self-guided. It can also be achieved through study under a Druid mentor or it can come directly from the gods. The realization of Draíocht is demonstrated in the lives of those who are called Druids by the devotion of their actions, the truth of their teachings and the nature of their way of being.*p*It is through this life long following of the way of Draíocht that a Druid understands the creation of worlds, the second birth of being and the continuity of existence, though fire and water may at times prevail. *p*One might ask the question, "What is Draíocht?" The answer to this question is that Draíocht is "the Truth against the World."*p*The training of a Druid is obtained by studying this Truth, understanding the laws of man and Nature, and worshipping the gods.*p*Searles
