A Druid's Code Searles O'Dubhain searles@summerlands.com Sun Jan 2 13:51:57 2000 I've added some entries and reformatted "A Druid's Code" to be found in The Summerlands Public Library (link below). It is based upon ancient writings and sayings attributed to Druids, but it is also a living set of principles and practices that we can use to improve our own Drai/ocht in today's world. Each one of these codes will become an essay and a course of study in the curriculum of our Druidic study and our schools in The Summerlands. I think that such a project is a work that many of us have sought and can effectively accomplish through harmonizing our abilities and talents. I know that Beirdd and TopazOwl both have done a lot of work in examing what should be studied as well as the best references to use for the basic introduction. I'd love to hear the thoughts, suggestions and goals of others on this matter. We can't make it right if we don't have your contributions and advice. We must be a confluence of knowledge if we expect to create a mighty stream (An Sruith). As such, we will be only a step away from a mastery of our art and craft.*p*Searles http://www.summerlands.com/crossroads/library/a_druids_code.htm A Druid's Code
