Definitely a personal choice. On the vegetarian side, I'd like to offer a thought or two for what it's worth. The ancient Celts *had* to eat meat. It was part of survival and a large part of their food chain from what I can tell. We live in a very different world at this time, where we can make totally vegetarian (even Vegan) choices and have enough quantity and variety to sustain us.*p*The other thought I had was concerning the meat eating ceremonies. If meat is not a part of someone's daily diet, then wouldn't it follow that if it was reserved for 'only' ritual, that it would, in fact, be more powerful since it's something that is also not a part of the 'mundane/daily' existance?*p*And no... I'm not picking on meateaters <GGG> Still one myself, although I'm trying to wean off of it.*p*Deborah*br* Re: A Druid's Perspective on common things... TopazOwl 645 Mon Aug 7 13:42:57 2000
