Re: Dragons, Unicorns, and other Mythical Beasties mique Mon Aug 7 23:20:03 2000 my response to this post:*p*i have a dragon as a friend and power animal. i visit him and ask him questions and just enjoy his company. he *is* in the Otherworld. but, he is real to me, as real as you are to me. it is a commonly held pratice that shamans (not to say that i am one) think of whatever they see/feel/witness in their shamanic journeys as being as real as anything they see/feel/witness in this reality. and as with all myths..there is truth in the myth somewhere. *br*i actaully have a friend who does a workshop entitled "dragons, giants, and faeries oh my!" at various gatherings. it is all about the celts and mythological creatures. he goes throo and cites all the references and such. i unfortunately could not atttend it when he did it at starwood (don't ya hate when the workshop you are giving interferes w/ one you wanna take?!) anyway, i feel/ believe..no, i know, that these "mythological" creatures *are* real, i treat them as such. they may only be energy for now, but energy can be turned into matter with enough focus. but, for now, i am content to step sideways between the veil and visit them in their realm.*p*blessings*br*mique Dragons, Unicorns, and other Mythical Beasties TopazOwl 647 Mon Aug 7 13:58:20 2000
