Triads as Druidic Dogma? Searles Fri Aug 11 09:24:09 2000 I know dogma gets a bad rap among Pagans because it is just so... well... dogmatic! However, I think that the Druids solved this problem by presenting their more dogmatic approaches to many common topics of behavior and values through a triadic approach. The Triads give two possible ways things can be and a third possibility that might be the result of the first two. In some cases, this third instance almost seems like an alternative to the first two. I think presenting logic in three ways like this is a step beyond dogma and a move toward a more enlightened interpretation of how one should behave. This is done through an almost miny-parable approach to learning and instruction. Am I off base here or what? Thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated.*p*Searles
