Re: Pearls Before Swine? mique Fri Aug 11 19:54:32 2000 i am currently rethinking my path in life. but, at one point i did consider myself a druid, and i still do learn druidic ways. so, here is my answer (which may or may not have anything ot do with a druidic viewpoint on this topic):*p*i am of two mindsets here; the helpful one, and the cynical one.*p*the helpful one wants to help those who show an interest. it wants to be there to teach those who wish to learn. i see truths and facts being distorted by ignorance and personal opinion, and so i want to be there to set the record straight. because, as soon as it gets to the point of a distorted truth obtaining its own life, it is way too late to hope to change it and recover the truth that is buried inside it.*p*but at the same time, part of me wants to say "to hell with 'em" and keep it to ourselves: those who truly wish to know, those who will use the knowledge constructively and properly. when i see people who express an interest to learn, and then prove time and again that they are unworthy of the truths and knowledges given to them, it makes me so irritated that i had the lack of sight to see them for what they are. and at that point i will refuse to show them anything else. i may or may not hamper them by not giving them an alternate means of learning, that all depends on the exact situation.*p*so, i guess, that's the answer for me; it depends on the situation at hand. i will always be open to help and teach whatever is in my capacity to, that's the kind of person i am. but, i cannot say whether or not i will continue until the specific situation presents itself.*p*blesings*br*mique Pearls Before Swine?
