Re: Triads as Druidic Dogma? mique Sat Aug 12 08:56:07 2000 *br*i do not know if i like the word dogma, i do not know if there actually *is* any other word to use though. but, as for the system of triads, i have been using the triads once i wuz introduce to the concept when i first joined adf. we use triads to create our cosmology in ritual: the three kindred (ancestors, nature spirits, and the shining ones), we use the fire, well and tree, and the three boundaries (the land, the sea, and the sky).*p*i have nothing against the concepts of four, but i feel that the triads provide more structure. and as branfionn stated: three sided objects prove to be more resilient and more durable.*p* i cannot see *not* using the triads. so, searles, my vote is with you on this one.*p*blessings*br*mique Triads as Druidic Dogma?
