Re: A Stand on Druids as Priests Beirdd Wed Sep 20 20:58:15 2000 Because of my failing health and the effect upon it of my passion for this subject, I have recently decided to avoid discussion of the Catholic Church and Catholicism. I apologize to you and to everyone here in the Summerlands for my inability to become involved in this discussion at this time. If there is anywhere in which I would end my personal "exile" on this subject, it would be right here in the Summerlands, where I have seen understanding grow and tolerance become tangible. Well...it might be better ended in the "safety" of the Sanctuary ;-)*p*Again, my apologies.*br*--Beirdd*p*Searles wrote,*br*: Beirdd,*br*:*br*: I'd be interested in your understanding of how the Roman *br*: Catholic Church maps revealed truth between various *br*: religions. Do they accept that the priest of other *br*: religions minister between deity and spirit for their own *br*: flocks. Do they recognize a many-folded pathway to deity as *br*: perhaps the Hindus profess? How do they view Druids as *br*: priests of another religion? I for one would be interested *br*: in engaging in a discussion where the tenets of Druidic *br*: philosophy and belief are correlated to Catholic tenets and *br*: beliefs.*br*: Re: A Stand on Druids as Priests Searles 708 Wed Sep 20 12:10:13 2000
