Re: In Search of....? mique Wed Sep 27 21:29:37 2000 math, *p*i have not read any of philip's books, but i do own the druid animal oracle. and i have met philip (and a bunch of other OBOD people), he is a very nice person, willing to talk and discuss. i even pointed out something about his cards which he had not seen. he told me he wuz going to go and think about it, that he does not know how he missed it..lol. i like them alot. i do not honestly know a whole lot about OBOD's style of druidry. i did attend an OBOD full moon rite- it seemed to me to be more akin to wicca than to what i know of druidry (which is mainly ADF)...in this i mean, they used the four elements/directions as opposed to the triads (fire/well/tree, land/sea/sky, and no mention of the kindreds). from what i am told about OBOD's tradition, it is basically eclectic (do what feels right). *p*as for your comment about seeing the view of not talking about the other organization when you are a member of another- i do not see why this would matter. from my experience in ADF, none of us have troubles or qualms about telling you about other druidic organizations...including fox himself. ADF is all about having the information out there for people to see and use....even if it is to give people info of other organizations and watch them cancel their ADF membership in favour of another group. i do not know much about Keltria, though i am interested in joining (hi Topaz..:-) ), except that the person who formed keltria is a former member of ADF (and i presume alot of ADF carried over to Keltria-though this is just a guess).*p*but other than that, welcome to ADF! where are you located?- i think i can (w/o too much trouble) find a group of people near to you. *p*well, hope this helps*p*blessings*br*mique*br* In Search of....?
