Thankful Remembrances

A deep breath, so that my heart may find some peace, here, by the Fire.  My heart is sorrowful, having come, now, from the Hall of Remembrance.  Yet, I am greatful for that sorrow, for those bitter tears that threaten to overwhelm my soul.  I find strength, there, that I didn't know I had.  More, a determination to see that this world can once again accept all of its people.  The familiar phrase rings in my mind . . . 'never again the Burning Times' . . . never again to hide.  The world has changed, since then.  For that, too, I am glad.  Now, we have more a chance to be free, to worship as we know is right, for us.  Yet, there are battles to be won.  My Warrior's Spirit is thankful for that.  For all those hardships which make us strong, I thank all the Gods and Goddesses, as well the Ancestors and the Spirits of the Land.  I am greatful, too, for those times of peace and plenty, in which we can rejoice and live as 'twas intended.  As well, I'm glad I was born in a time where there is so much to do, for the betterment of All.*p*Madior
