I have found a bit of clarification on this law since my original post, and thankfully, I have nothing to fear.  But the law is apparently real.  It seems to apply only to custody cases in divorces.  According to this law, if one parent is Christian and the other is not, custody of the child or children must go to the Christian parent, no matter any other circumstances.*p*While this means that I am safe, as I don't see divorce in my future, it nonetheless is a law that needs to be eradicated.  It does have an effect on a friend who is going through a divorce.  I know this is the sanctuary board, but I ask that we all raise our voices against this sort of persecution.
