Gratitude TopazOwl Sat Jul 11 09:22:41 1998 We talked about starting the gratitude list here again, and I guess I'll go first, because this morning I find myself pleasantly reflective. :-)*p* Today (and every day) I am grateful for the sunshine that warms the earth and brightens my spirit. I am grateful for Saturdays and my summer-morning-coffee-on-the-porch ritual, and the little hummingbird that visits every day.*p* I was also thinking as I soaked up the rays how grateful I am for my loved ones and dear friends, who good-naturedly put up with me, argue with me when I'm wrong, expand my horizons, put me back in my place, and occasionally remind me which world I should be mostly living in now.*p* I am grateful (most times) for the ability to see beyond this world that I am supposed to be living in now. I am grateful for the guidance I receive from the Otherworld and the sense to listen.*p* I am grateful for the land I live on and the relationship I have developed with its spirits.*p* I am grateful to be as old as I am and know what I know. I am also grateful for being able to continue learning.*p* I am grateful that the crops are two weeks or more ahead of schedule and flourishing, that my grape vines are producing grapes, that my roses are going nuts with blooms, and that I have that special serene place by the well to go ponder and relax.*p* I am grateful for Bear, for so many reasons. He is my rock, my anchor, my shelter in the storm, and without him my life would be impossible to deal with. I'm grateful that, through so many lifetimes and lessons, we have finally learned what is truly important. Sometimes we get lucky. :-)*p*The Topaz Owl
