Hmm...I hate to contribute the the mess this long thread is making of the Main Board. However, in terms of druidry and Celtic tradition, I do wonder how this will all play out. Will the Rule of Law which, as they used to say, measures both peasant and king, survive? Can a lie be understandable in a personal matter, or is it fatal no matter the subject when it flies in the face of an oath?  As for matters of personal honor, I know what I would do if I was in this situation. It would be the thing most difficult for me and quickest and easiest on my people. After all, they are the king's "raison d'etre."*p*--Beirdd
