knghtfin@mediaone.net Re: Greetings! Searles Mon Nov 16 23:00:17 1998 Many welcomes before you Robert. Part of the "Truth" to be found in this message is that the ancient Celts (and many modern ones as well) mean that a quality should be placed "at" or "against" something in order for that person or thing to receive such a quality. It is for this reason that the Irish say, "Dia dhuit" (God at you) when greeting one another. "The Truth Against the World" might well mean that one is trying to give the world the quality or blessing of truth. Another irony in the ways of this truth are that one must sometimes go beyond the world in order to experience greater truths and to wish upon it the truth that it does not have. This is why Druids learn techniques in meditation, prayer and imbas IMO. One must go beyond the worldly self in order to experience thetruthst that cannot be bound within its boundaries.*p*Searles*p*"An Fhirinne in Aghaid an t-Saoil."*br*"The Truth Against the World"*p**br*Robert Scott Pierce wrote,*br*: 'Y GWIR YN ERBYN BYD" *br* Greetings!
