This event will include "the Rev. Jesse Jackson, Congressional Leaders, ministers of all faith, state and local elected officials, and civil rights and non-profit organizations." Most groups I've talked to have endorsed this event as the primary anti-impeachment event before the House vote.  MoveOn.org will be represented, and we encourage you to attend if you can. In the last week more than 200,000 phone calls to Congress from constituents went to Congress on our 1-877-TO-MOVEON line.  The Capitol Switchboard has been constantly swamped.  In the same period, we've delivered over 500,000 emails to Congress.  25,000 new people are signing the "Censure and Move On" petition every day.  40,000 individual letters came into our "swingvotes@list.moveon.org" address, completely swamping the House email servers.  We've calculated that the House servers simply cannot accept even half that load in the time remaining this week, so we are discontinuing "swingvotes" email -- and sending any messages to*br*"swingvotes" directly to the Speaker of the House Bob Livingston.  Sorry -- the House needs to buy more servers.*p**br*Perhaps we should go back to telegrams.  No joke.  People For the American Way has set up a special Western Union Opinion-Gram toll-free number.
