This kind of writing had a long tradition, even in John's time, and is seen elsewhere in the Bible, for instance, in Ezekial. BTW: the genre is not limited to Judeo-Christian visions.*p*How many of us who have had a vision of the Otherworld and tried to use words to describe it would like to be described as "stoned?"*p*--Beirdd
