They live in the home in closets and basements and attics and such. They are not harmful, just different, and one may find their energy disturbing only because it *is* so different.*p*     I think instead of being afraid, your friend should summon some courage in her dream and ask what they want, because these shy, reclusive beings don't show themselves for no reason. (That is, if they are truly elves and not something else. Where did she get that name?)*p*     My guess is that she has maybe disturbed one living in her closet. Has she moved recently? :-)*p*Owl /|\
