BILLYmacFIONN@webtv.net Re: green in the summerlands Searles Sat May 6 16:08:22 2000 Ta/ Fa/ilte Romhat a Bhili, A Welcome Before You, Billy,*p*Ta/ me/ go maith, go raibh maith agat. Eochaidh Ollathair is Brighid dhuit.*p*I'm certain that you will find people, information and teaching to suit you here in The Summerlands. We have a few courses presented for study and for enriching students at the Crossroads. Within The Summerlands itself, we are also formulating an entire school of courses for Druids and other students of Pagan and Celtic ways. *p*I know that Celtic Traditions and Ogham should be an excellent start for you on your own way, but we are also structuring a curriculum that embraces everything that a Druid should know from philosophy and physicality to science and magic. In the archives of An Daire Draiochta (our Druids' Oak Grove), you can find some of our previous discussions on this matter. Reading the archives of any Summerlands section should show you what we consider and understand on a variety of topics from marriage to healing or from crafting to stargazing.*p*I am personally considering offering a Drai/ocht 101 course for training those who are just beginning their journey along the Druid Way, but I also think that it should have nine separate teachers conducting it. This is so that the students can receive breadth of knowledge while also plumbing the depths of the subject matter to be discovered within the wisdom of the Well of Segais. These courses and their study are destined to form the foundations of a formal Druidic Seminary in The Summerlands of the Hills.*p*I salute you on your quest and I further applaud the wisdom of your choices in joining with us on such an important endeavor. May the Sun rise on the road of our successes and may the Moon illuminate the footsteps that are hidden from sight. May the Stars be our roadmap and may the Earth support the weight of our undertaking*p**br*Sla/n is beannacht,*p*Searles*p*Billy T.Sullivan wrote,*br*: Greetings and salutations to all the fine folk in the *br*: summerlands!
