Hi Shamrock,*p*     While not exactly an "apocalyptic myth," there _is_ the Prophecy of the Morrigan from Irish legend, which predicts a sorry state of affairs at the end of the world. It can be found in the tale of the Second Battle of Mag Tured (Moytura). I shall reproduce it here from Ancient Irish Tales ed. by Cross & Slover.*p*"Then, moreover, she was prophesying the end of the world, and foretelling every evil that would be therein, and every disease and every vengeance.
