Michael *br*The one thing you alluded to but did not say, is that this country's*br*chosen form of government is a democracy, more or less <g>.*br*And because of this government, of the people, by the people and for the people, is majority rule... a town of 6000 can decide to have *br*whatever they want on their town seal. The same majority can also argue that this symbol, as Michael said, is a tribute to their*br*christian ancestors. The majority can also decide what the rights of the average man are.*br*Thankfully the Intolerant, bigoted people we most fear are not the majority. However if we are -not- careful to resolve our issues in *br*non-confrontational ways, we can turn the opinion of our nominal allies against us. *br*I am not sating that we should not defend ourselves and our current*br*rights, just that we must choose our fights and the battlefield*br*carefully. And that the best way to win the day is to get your *br*advesary to agree to let you have your way by means of logic mixed with some positive emotional appeal. *p*Blessed Be*br*Hunter*p*May those love us, love us.
