In many cases I agree that if you're not militant people arent as threatened by you.  However, I can remember taking my tires into be replaced and wearing a pentacle.  I sat down in the waiting room and was reading a magazine when a tightlipped woman who was sitting a couple of chairs down turned to me and said, 'You know you're going to hell when you die dont you?" (totally uncalled for... I had been talking to her briefly about various nonreligious day to day stuff and then started reading the mag).  I turned to her said, "No, Hell is a Christian concept, not part of the pagan belief system."  They called my number shortly thereafter and I was able to leave.*p*That is not the first nor the last time I've had stuff like that happen.  For those who've never experienced either overt or subtle prejudice.... consider yourselves verrrrrry lucky.*p*Deborah
