My neighbour, Raymonds wife, Evelyn, 72 years of age, passed on during the night. Raymond woke to find her spirit gone. I was apprised of this later and went over to offer condolences. I was suitably suprised to find that they were waking her corpse before the funeral home came. They had her in the bedroom until 9 of the a.m. I was bid to perform the blessings over her body before they took her away. *p*It's a hard thing to lose a friend, harder still to perform these offices under these conditions. But then that is part of the functions of a draoi, especially one who is a Funerary specialist.*p*Daibhaid
