Re: SwissAir Plane Crash Searles Fri Sep 4 14:05:58 1998 I always take a moment to place myself with the people who have experienced these tragedies, (as I believe we are all connected through spirit and fate). I share their pain and hope to give them the sense that all is not lost as a physical existence ends. The effect of each person's physical life continues for many lifetimes through the actions of family, friends and their own legacies to us in work, writing and deeds. The thoughts that they've shared with the world determine the directions that destiny follows. Their spirit works across veils and within hearts.*p*That is how it was for the people of the Swiss Air plane crash. Each of them had eternities of clarity in the face of imminent death, connecting spirit, mind and body, in their remaining life's awareness. Lifetimes were compressed into seconds, becoming real beyond the ordinary, and in that brief experience, the endless ecstasy of spirit became a reality for each of them that is like a light across the sky. Each of us should take a moment to see their souls singing in the Sky River as She flows from out of the Darkness and into the Center of Life Anew. New songs from spirits old before time and young before returning.*p*May the happiness of those who lived and those who died be found in our every deed and often in our remembrances.*br*Searles*p**br*1 X 2 Willows wrote,*br*: I am nothing but extremely thankful, that I was spared *br*: having to grief over my brother's wife, who was not at work *br*: as a flight attendant for SwissAir yesterday.
